Damage & Liability Policy
At StayForContractors.com, we work hard to maintain high standards in all of our contractor-focused accommodations. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for both guests and property owners, we require all guests to agree to the following Damage and Liability Policy upon booking.
1. Guest Responsibility for Property Condition
By staying at a StayForContractors.com property, you agree to:
Keep the accommodation in the same condition as you found it.
Avoid causing damage to any part of the property, furniture, appliances, fixtures, or fittings.
Take reasonable steps to prevent accidents or damage, including water damage, stains, burns, or structural harm.
2. Reporting Damage
Any damage or malfunction must be reported immediately to our team via WhatsApp, phone, or email.
Failure to report damage may result in additional charges or full liability for unnoticed issues at check-out.
3. Charges for Damage or Excessive Cleaning
You may be charged if:
There is physical damage to the property, walls, furniture, or fittings.
Items are missing from the unit (e.g., keys, towels, electronics).
The property is left in an excessively dirty condition beyond normal use.
The smoking policy is violated (smoking indoors may incur deep-cleaning charges).
Unauthorized guests, pets, or activities (such as parties) cause damage or require intervention.
All repair or replacement costs will be itemized and invoiced. Invoices are payable within 7 days.
4. Lost or Damaged Keys / Access Devices
Guests are responsible for lost, broken, or unreturned keys, access cards, or fobs. Replacement charges may include locksmith services if applicable.
5. Liability Disclaimer
StayForContractors.com and its property owners are not responsible for:
Loss, theft, or damage to guest property or personal belongings.
Injuries sustained due to improper use of equipment or facilities.
Any third-party activities or services not directly offered or endorsed by StayForContractors.com.
Guests are encouraged to take appropriate care of their valuables and personal safety during their stay.
6. Insurance
We recommend that all guests carry personal travel or renter’s insurance to cover personal items, accidents, or unexpected changes to travel plans. We do not provide coverage for guest belongings or injuries.
7. Enforcement
In the case of significant damage or policy violations, StayForContractors.com reserves the right to:
Terminate the booking immediately, without refund
Withhold all or part of the security deposit (if applicable)
Take legal action or pursue recovery of costs through debt collection or small claims court
